• Weekly Gaming Editorial: 4th Week Of June, Part II

  The Highlights

  
  Sony talks about features that will be in Gran Turismo 5 including weather changes, stunt areas, kart racing and a track editor. Because of what was shown at E3, we already know there are real drivers in game and (THE STIG!) Top Gear's test course in game. Sounds good, yes?
  
  Now the bad news from Sony...since EA has done its online pass, Sony is picking up the used online access idea too for White Knight Chronicles 2.

  
  
  There is more to learn about Playstation Plus. After E3's confirmed announcement about PS Plus during their conference, people were left in wonder over exactly what you will be able to get for $50 a year. Playstation LifeStyle answers those questions here.
  
  Small Highlights

  
  $199 Xbox 360 Slim confirmed, but no details of the cheaper 360 slim have been revealed. (Arcade Version?) Easy to say of one thing, less memory than the $299 360 slim. In other 360 related news, the 360 Slim will shutdown inself to save its own life...no matter what save you may need in-game. (No more RRoD)
  
  If you didn't see it the first time, you need to see it now. Kevin Butler speech that we all needed to hear...about our lord...GAMING! FOREVER SHALL HE REIGN!
  
  Pricing for "OnLive" revealed, and AT&T will be the service for online connection. The question is, do you even remember this being announced and do you care?
  
  360 may not be the only console with Hulu on it, says Sony. They also may be getting Last.FM before 360 does. For being Post-E3 time, there has been alot of activity on the PS3 side, with nothing really going on with microsoft and nintendo being dead quiet.
  
  Check out the sexy pictures of the 3DS at E3 which..nobody really bothered to put up for some reason.

  Who's in the Spotlight

  Sadly since it is the week of Post-E3, it is the E3 Hangover, no big news, videos, demos or anything is out this week. Sorry.
  
  

  Final Notes

  

  • Expect a special review of "Split/Second" by next week. May be just over half way done with the game (100% including trophies), but I have seen what the game has to offer, and I am very pleased.
  • An extra apology for no spotlighting, Like I said, the week after E3 is the hangover where there is no true thing to highlight or hype. I will create a post E3 special soon. Highlight the aftermath of everything everybody things. Sometimes...you can't listen to opinions during E3 since it is all exaggerated and over-hyped.
  • Expected reviews next week: Lego Harry Potter: 1-4 Years, Transformers, Sin & Punishment 2.
